Jon Pither

Managing Director

Jon Pither is a development team leader by trade, having led several high profile Clojure projects including introducing Clojure at multiple Investment Banks, an online newspaper website, a major property portal, and an international public electric bikes scheme. Jon is a co-founder of JUXT, a consultancy specialising in using Clojure and other best of breed technologies.

Agile

Before co-founding JUXT Jon worked as a senior consulant at ThoughtWorks where he became well versed in Agile software development techniques. During his time as an Agile consultant Jon helped to transform development practices at large institutions such as the BBC and Sky, a major publishing house and a fashion retail giant.

Training

Throughout his career Jon has authored and led training courses, ranging from Java and TDD to more recently Clojure based learning courses. Jon enjoys training others in Clojure and presently runs training courses for JUXT.

Writing

Jon writes a series of blog articles for JUXT and is currently building up a series of reference case studies of Clojure adoption stories, see our 'Clojure In' page.
